How to write better AI prompts (a simple framework)

Why most prompts fail

Most people type a one-line request and hope for the best. The AI has to guess your intent, your audience and your format — so it returns something generic.

The 5-part framework

Great prompts answer five questions:

  • Role — who should the AI act as? ("a senior copywriter")
  • Objective — what exactly do you want?
  • Context — audience, tone, background, constraints
  • Format — bullets, table, essay, JSON?
  • Constraints — length, must-includes, things to avoid

Example

Instead of "write an email to my boss", try a structured brief. Or just describe it in plain words and let LLM Prompt Gen build the structure for you.

Let the engine do it

You do not have to memorise this. Type what you want in plain language and get a structured, professional prompt in one click.
